Yesterdag we amused ourselves by writing or drawing with lights in the air while making photos. the purpose of these efforts was that we were trying to make a Christmas card. These are the results...
![]() In computer graphics and photography, high dynamic range imaging (HDRI) is a set of techniques that allow a far greater dynamic range of exposures (i.e. a large range of values between light and dark areas) than normal digital imaging techniques. The intention of HDRI is to accurately represent the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes ranging from direct sunlight to the deepest shadows.
HDRI was originally developed for use with purely computer-generated images. Later, methods were developed to produce a high dynamic range image from a set of photos taken with a range of exposures. With the rising popularity of digital cameras and easy to use desktop software, the term "HDR" is now popularly used[1] to refer to the process of tone mapping together with bracketed exposures of normal digital images, giving the end result a high, often exaggerated dynamic range. This composite technique is different from, and generally of lower quality than, the production of an image from a single exposure of a sensor that has a native high dynamic range. Tone mapping is also used to display HDR images on devices with a low native dynamic range, such as a computer screen. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_dynami This is my first shot... ![]() ( Update ) Steve Wold, more commonly known as Seasick Steve, is an American bluesman. He plays guitars (mostly personalised), and sings.
![]() When Steve was four years old, his parents split up. He left home at 14, and spent many years living on the streets in the States. He used to travel long distances by hopping freights as a hobo. He now lives in Norway. Before becoming a professional musician, recording engineer and producer, he had dozens of jobs, including being a carnie, cowboy and a migrant worker. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seasick_Ste Vorig weekend was het 100 jaar scouting.
bij deze de foto's Tommorrow I'm gonna post a big 100 year Scouting blog. ) Who the hell said rock’n roll was dead? No, no, my friends, rock is very much alive and hard kickin’ in Dilbeek / Belgium. The BlackBox Revelation are a surprise package of nothing more than two very young guys producing a wall of sound to blow you out of your socks. Jan and Dries offer a mix of dirty garage rock and melodic riffs with drums, guitar and voice as their only tools. They play the stage as if they’ve been doing it for ages. Neil Young might have been much closer to truth when he sang “hey hey, my my, rock ’n roll will never die”... Since 2 weeks we are doing a Film workshop where scenarios of the third year directing are being realised.
( Read more... ) This week I suddenly got obsessed with a melody of a song which I was certain to be German. It's been to long that I've posted on my livejournal (again).
( Read more... ) So here a resume of what i've been doing lately... ( Read more... ) yesterday it was "day of the student" in Brussels.
